Course Description
Do you want to learn new moves while also learning how to find your own style in jazz dance? Then this course is the right fit for you!
In 6 weeks, we will take classic jazz steps and moves, and adapt them into new variations and moves. You will expand your jazz vocabulary, learn some awesome routines, and deepen the understanding of the technique, shape and rhythm of moves so you have the tools to change them yourself as well.
Additionally, you will get two different perspectives on the dance, as Gea and Robbin will both take turns teaching this course. Robbin enjoys taking different moves and concepts and combines them into something new, while Gea is in love with rhythm and rhythm variations.
Level requirement:
We expect dancers attending this course to know basic jazz steps, such as boogie back / forward, fall-of-the-log, suzie Q, etc.
Intermediate-Advanced & up Lindy Hop dancers are warmly welcomed in this series.
This class will be taught in English by either Gea or Robbin.
