Join us for a weekend of high-energy, swing dancing in our exclusive Collegiate Shag Workshop!
Step back in time to the swingin' days of the 1920s and 30s, where the dance floor was electric and the moves were fast and full of flair. Whether you're just starting your journey into the world of Collegiate Shag or looking to refine your skills, we’ve got something for every dancer.
SHAG EXPLORERS
Are you ready to discover the thrill of this iconic swing dance? In these sessions, we’ll dive into the basics of Collegiate Shag, teaching you how to master the rhythm, footwork, main figures and connection that make this dance so addictive. Perfect for those who are new to the dance floor or just looking to get a solid foundation of the basics.
Requirements
You are new to Collegiate Shag or have attended one or a few taster classes.
You have been dancing collegiate Shag for 1-2 (or more) years - either taking weekly classes or attending festivals? Check the level 'ENTHUSIASTS' here for more experienced dancers.

Automatische Einschreibung für Folgekurs
Das Erlernen eines Swingtanzes braucht seine Zeit. Um optimale Tanzforschritte zu ermöglichen, planen wir, aufbauende Kursserien zu organisieren. Folgeserien führen wir nach Möglichkeit am selben Wochentag und zur selben Kurszeit durch.
Vor Abschluss einer laufenden Serie wird die Kursplatz-Bestätigung für die Folgeserie versandt. Eine Abmeldung von der Folgeserie kann jederzeit bis spätestens 14 Tage vor Start der neuen Serie via Email an info@downtownswing.ch erfolgen.
Bei verfügbaren Plätzen wird ein Kursplatz zum Early Bird Preis in der Folgeserie reserviert (automatische Einschreibung).
Der Early Bird Preis berücksichtigt ebenfalls einzelne Abwesenheiten während einer Kursserie (verpasste Lektionen sind nicht rückerstattbar bzw. können aus organisatorischen Gründen nicht nachgeholt werden).
